Voice In The Wilderness

There is a dire need for God’s voice NOT to be lost in our nation, the onslaught against God’s holy written word as total truth has in some quarters been replaced by tolerance and humanism. We Christian’s need to be passionate and committed in our quest to evangelize the media and its audiences. John the Baptist came preaching a message to the listeners of his day, his message was inspired by the Holy Spirit to turn peoples hearts back to God and avoid judgment ,a cry for man to turn back from his course of sins and accept the cross and the Christ who was crucified on calvary for your sins and mine.Herod ordered John the Baptist to be executed by having him beheaded in order to silence his voice. It is such a time again, when many voices in the “Spirit of Elijah” will be heard on the planet as a VOICE IN THE WILDERNESS. My prayer is that multitudes in the valley of decision will come to him. How can we truly reconcile our love for the lost with deathly silence. We Christians need not avoid certain topics, but rather engage issues with care and concern, sowing the Gospel as good news to us the sinners. We need to be bold in speaking out to offer repentance to those who may still be heading for destruction or are currently in a form of bondage here on earth. My heart is moved for those oppressed and lost, they must be encountered, and I plan to use various kinds and type of media to do so in order to reach the whosever who will call on the name of the lord to be saved. We need to preach, help, assist as many as we can reach, this message of the Gospel is good news for all who would receive it through the richness of his mercy, the wonders of the cross, and yes sometimes through warning precious people much like John the Baptist did. To preach truth is not to judge anyone but in love warn them of impending judgment and God’s redemptive plan of grace through Christ Jesus. Luke 1:17 He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘TO TURN THE HEARTS OF THE FATHERS TO THE CHILDREN,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Matthew 11:10 for this is he of whom it is written: ‘BEHOLD, I SEND MY MESSENGER BEFORE YOUR FACE, WHO WILL PREPARE YOUR WAY BEFORE YOU.’ Act 17:30 truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, Act 17:31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

The spirit of Elijah

Elijah turned the hearts of the people back to the Lord. This is what John the Baptist did, coming in the spirit and power of Elijah. John the Baptist called for the people to come to the river to be baptized for the forgiveness of sins. Elijah prayed and the sky poured out rain and the earth bore fruit. John the Baptist told those he baptized to bring forth fruit in keeping with repentance. The spirit and power of Elijah was present in John the Baptist, not in outward ways but in inward ways. This is what was needed to prepare a people for Jesus Christ. This is what is needed now, a wild man who does not fit into our world. …A wild man to pray for a spiritual famine in the hearts of men. …A wild man to bring fire on men’s hearts when they preach. …A wild man to bring men to the river. …A wild man to pray for spiritual rain to fall on men.
